AGM REPORT

The club had a good turn out for the AGM. The new committee was elected and a number of members volunteered to help organise this years events. It was decided that the Haddington Sprint and the North Berwick Family Triathlon should be run as they are, although the cycle at north Berwick may be altered for safety reasons.

The Dunbar Junior Triathlon is an exciting new venture for 2002. Swim, turbo and run sessions continue to grow in popularity and the Sunday duathlons have also had good participation.

We will be running a series of specific training events in the spring evenings, keep an eye on the notice board for details.

The clubs coaches: Gavin Hay, Tom Harley and Neal Doggett were thanked for there help as well as Brian Lindsay for organising all the training sessions.

The club will continue to benefit from both financial and organisational support from East Lothian Council.

The year 2002 looks like it will be another busy year for everyone involved in the club both terms of organising local events and competing in triathlons throughout the country.
