Welcome
If you live in East Lothian and are interested in swimming, cycling and/or running, then why not join the East Lothian Triathlon Club? Our members are predominantly 'recreational' triathletes who fit their training around their other commitments of work and family life and therefore fit in 2-5 hours of training a week. We do also have a core of athletes that take their training more seriously, putting in upwards of 10 hours training per week. Our members represent the whole spectrum of triathlon performance‚ from beginners to very experienced athletes. Whether you want to enter your first triathlon or improve your times for triathlon, duathlon or aquathlon events, then our training sessions will help you on your way. All levels of fitness and ability are represented and our members are real people who will be willing to help you.
About Us
The East Lothian Triathlon Club was established
in 1993 and originated as an offshoot of the local running
club 'Haddington and East Lothian Pacemakers' (HELP). They
organised the first Haddington Triathlon in 1994. Our aims
are to promote the sport of Triathlon in the East Lothian
area by hosting Triathlon Race Events and by providing regular
training sessions and occasional events for our members
throughout the year.
